About Project Quantum

Project Quantum is Cambridge Memorial Hospital’s multi-year systems transformation initiative designed to modernize how we work, communicate, and deliver care. In June 2025, CMH launched its new Organizational Scheduling Office and UKG scheduling system, streamlining workforce processes across the hospital. Looking ahead, Project Quantum will continue transforming other critical systems—including Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, and Finance.

The next and most significant step is the implementation of a new Health Information System (HIS)—a comprehensive, hospital-wide digital platform that will replace many legacy systems. The HIS will enable seamless access to patient information, enhance clinical workflows, and strengthen collaboration across departments, representing one of the largest and most transformative projects in CMH’s history.
