Job Description

Salary Range: $35.43 - $42.18

 

Reporting to the Professional Practice Manager, the Inter-professional Education Coordinator coordinates the placements of clinical and non-clinical learners, and provides administrative support for the eLearn system. The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring an excellent onboarding experience, collects and handles confidential information between the educational institutions and the hospital, and supports the development, posting, and assignment of eLearn modules.

 

 

The physical demands of the job may include but are not limited to sitting, standing, walking, lifting and bending.

 

Job Description: 

 

Post secondary diploma required or equivalent combination of education and experience

2 to 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare institution

Background in Student Education, and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Experience with learning management systems including administration and program development

Effective planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to set priorities

Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ability to assume responsibility and demonstrate initiative in the coordination of information from multiple sources

Proven accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to foster good working relationships

Ability to operate audio-visual equipment including videoconference set-up

Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
