Job Description

Salary Range: $47.29 - 56.30

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects within the Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Medicine, and Diagnostic Cardiology programs, as well as to provide comprehensive support for corporate projects. Working independently and under the guidance of the Director of DI & Lab Medicine and Diagnostic Cardiology Services, in collaboration with the DI and Lab Leadership Teams, the Project Manager collaborates with and leads various improvement teams and is specifically equipped to deliver relevant data analysis, project management, and logistical support. The ideal candidate will excel in driving project success through effective stakeholder engagement, robust planning, and meticulous execution

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of complex departmental and corporate projects.
  • Ensure alignment of all assigned projects with the organizational strategy through effective engagement and communication at all organizational levels.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and responsible team members.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Align standard PMO processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and tools to efficiently manage projects.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting key risks, issues, and changes to the project scope.
  • Facilitate effective communication between various departments and project collaborators.
  • Identify and mitigate potential roadblocks or risks that could impact project timelines, quality, or budget.
  • Lead team meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Performing cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the role, as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required. A Professional Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing quality and process improvement projects, preferably within the healthcare industry or in an organizational setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality project outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Lean Process Improvement, as well as associated tools.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of effectively handling multiple projects and prioritizing competing demands.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in change management, including leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems (HIS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management software like Microsoft Project or similar.
